The Best Way to Castrate Your Husband-Part Two

I have begun a four-part series concerning the damaging effects of a wife's nagging.  If you have not read part one, you can catch up here.

A nagging wife, over time, is essentially slowly castrating her own husband. Furthermore, she dishonors God and is, in a sense, breaking her wedding vows.

First, let me give my definition of nagging:  to whine, complain, belittle, have outbursts of anger, pout, insist on own way and to remind spouse of past mistakes/offenses.

A nagging wife dishonors God because her behavior displays disregard for His plan for marriage.  By showing disrespect to her husband, she is dishonoring God's instruction for the marriage roles.Furthermore, since Paul compares marriage to the relationship between Christ and His church, she is ultimately dishonoring the very relationship that has saved her soul. (Ephesians 5:22-33)

If you find yourself in the trap of nagging your husband (again, refer to the above definition), repent and ask God for help in being the wife He has purposed you to be.
